WHRL was delighted to present at the All-Energy 2017 conference in Glasgow yesterday. Our Executive Chairman Robert Shearlaw was speaking on ‘novel smart systems for farm based renewable/low carbon energy’.

The event is the UK’s largest low carbon and renewable energy event and was well attended. Scotland’s first minister Nicola Sturgeon spoke around Scotland and its role in the low carbon revolution. She was quoted to say’ The Scottish Parliament set some of the most ambitious carbon emission targets anywhere in the world. And I’m delighted to say that we have already met those 2020 targets six years ahead of schedule’. Our low carbon and renewable sector now accounts for almost 60,000 jobs across our country – and has a turnover of £10.5 billion.

At WHRL, we believe that there are still plenty of economically viable low Carbon opportunities to be had as we deliver Zero Carbon Heat by applying our innovative WHRLflo® technology to industrial refrigeration systems.
